6th Grade Art
Caricatures
-Students will be drawing a Caricature of themself, someone they know or someone completely made up. Each Caricature must be performing a hobby or job/occupation. They will be able to draw from various facial expressions, clothing, hair styles and accessories.They will be using colored pencils, and markers.

Underwater Paintings
-Students will be creating underwater paintings by drawing various underwater creatures, outlining with their non-washable white crayon, and then painting with watercolor paints. We will focus on using warm and cool colors, and tints and shades. |
Printmaking
-Students will be creating a relief design from layers of cardboard, then print their design to create an embossment. This project consists of three parts including relief design, embossment and collage. |
Star book
-Students will create a star book by folding the pages and gluing them together. They will choose how they would like to fill the book. Choices include autobiography, biography, picture book, comic book, or children's book. |
7th Grade Art
One-point perspective
-Students will learn how to draw various shapes and forms using one point perspective. |
